The National Bird of Israel - Duchifat (It's English Name is Hoopoe)

It lives near the beach in Nahariya,Israel.

Mr. C. have been trying to get this bird on film for a few months now. This is the first time he had been able to get close shot of her. Click on the picture, isn't she just beautiful?!

Duchifat was chosen to be the national bird of Israel on June 1, 2008 by a popular vote.
