This is Stanley Flat Reporting to you from my trip. It took a few days to get out of the bag but now that I’m out I hope to write to you daily.
It’s cold and dark, and I am laying on a hard surface. I’m here for the last …I don’t know how long. I think I started my travelling a week ago in Canada and all I’ve seen so far is the inside of a post office bag… oh, my aching back!...shshsh..someone is turning a key and there are sounds and a light is coming in..oh maybe they are coming to take me out of here…oh, yes, sunshine!
A smiling face looking down at me, “hello Stanley, welcome to Nahariya, Israel”.
- Hi , I smiled
- “My name is Orith Cunningham, but you may call me Mrs. C., it’s easier. I’m glad you arrived. It was a very long trip for you.”
- It sure was…
It is warm outside. The sun is shining and not a spit of snow anywhere. No one wares coats, only sweaters. We are walking home from the post office, and in less then 5 minutes we arrived. We ride the elevator and when we get off on the 3rd floor, we enter a door. Smells like food.
Mrs. C. takes me to the kitchen and shows me around, she is preparing lunch, a very quick put together lunch, just like in Canada. Soup, sandwich and things… She takes my picture by the table so you know I had lunch with them. (Look on the side pannel)
The front door is openning up, “Hi Honey. This is Stanley Flat, Emilee mailed him to us to have an adventure. Stanley, this is my husband, Willie Cunningham,You can call him Mr. C."... Lunch is ready.

After lunch, Mr. C. shows me the balcony. On the North side are the mountains of Lebanon, and on the sidewalk there are some cats playing. It was getting cloudy so we couldn’t take a picture of the mountains.
I am recording my day on Mrs. C. computer before I forget anything. I am so tired, I feel like I can sleep for a week. So Mr.C. and I are going for an afternoon nap. Everyone naps in Nahariya in the afternoon.

BTW - if you click on the pictures in the middle, you'll enlarge them and can see them real good. Try it.
Talk to you later.
