Hi Emilee,
At 16:30 (our 4:30 pm) an electrician came. He tried to fix the big window cover. It is made of metal and called tris. You push a button on the wall to get it up or down and it cover the outside of the glass doors that go outside to the balcony. The electric motor inside the wall broke and the man needed to replace it. but it did not work. So Amir (that’s his name) will have to come back tomorrow. Mr. C. and I watched him the whole time he worked. After all I am a boy and watching people fixing things is a man’s job.
After he left we had supper and played some computer games.
At 8 pm (the 20:00 hour over here) Mr. & Mrs. C. took me to the beach. Yes, to the beach!
It was warm. We just had a warm shirt on. The waves were very noisy tonight and they licked the sand much higher then usual. A full moon, bigger then I've seen for a while, was playing hide and seek behind the clouds, and drawing the water upward. Mr. C. was counting the stars and pointing out the consolations of the Orion The Hunter and the Big Deeper. Mrs. C. saw only 4, but he saw "all kinds of stars everywhere". We walked a little and run a little and stopped to chat with a little dog. Then we stopped at a huge store by the gas station and bought some nuts and chocolate yogurt and Tonic Water and walked home carrying the groceries.
It was too dark to take pictures, so you have to imagine the little walk we took.
On the way home you could hear the "sonic boom" sound from the Navy Ships protecting the Water Way of the Mediterranean Sea. Mr. C. said it happens every night and nothing to fear; We are protected by a good Navy and a very big God.
Good night Emilee
Talk to you tomorrow.
