8. Tuesday, same as Monday

Dear Emilee,
Nothing to report. Can you imagine?

My hosts are just doing their usual routine of daily living and there is only one change. Mrs. C. is packing a suite case and checking a list of items to make sure that she does not forget anything. She is leaving next Sunday, while Mr. C. is staying home.

They are not telling me where she is going and although Mr. C. knows the destination he does not tell me either. I think I will be going with her, but maybe not. For now, that’s all there is.
